Kim Fink is the founder of Makin’ Music Rockin’ Rhythms, President of Sage Entertainment, Inc., and Director of the Springfield, Media and Radnor locations. She has been performing professionally for over 28 years; for 13 years as part of the popular children’s singing duo, “Peanut Butter ‘n Jelly” who performed for libraries, schools, and special events. She is dedicated to providing a program where children and parents can have fun enjoying music together. Kim directs music programs for schools and youth programs. She has a business degree, three children and four grandchildren. Kim teaches in Media, PA.

Dana Skahill


Dana Skahill has degrees in music education and performance and has worked as an elementary music teacher and as an assistant principal at a daycare. She is a talented musician and singer and has a great rapport with the kids. Dana teaches in Springfield, PA

Deborah Gibbone


Deborah Gibbone has been involved in musical entertainment from childhood and has performed in theaters, coffee houses, choirs, schools, and churches in the Delaware County area. She holds Bachelors and Masters degrees in Music Education and Elementary Education from Temple University and has taught music in the schools for many years. Deborah is a staff writer for Mailbox Magazine. She looks forward to her continued growth as an entertainer and educator through her affiliation with Makin’ Music! Deborah teaches in Springfield, PA.

Denise Santella


Denise Santella has been singing and playing guitar since she was young. She is a former preschool teacher and has taught children’s summer camps for several years. She has been part of the Makin’ Music program since its beginning and has been performing regularly in the classroom since 1996. Denise’s genuine affection for the children and parents of Makin’ Music truly make her an asset to our program. Denise and her husband have two children and two grandchilden.

Heidi Jankauskas


Heidi Jankauskas was an elementary music teacher before joining Makin’ Music. She has both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from West Chester University, and is a proud Golden Ram! She is an avid double reed instrumentalist who plays oboe, English horn, and bagpipes. She enjoys playing with her husband, Lee, in the Valley Forge Highland Band. She has two adorable twins, Leo and Amelia. Heidi’s spunk and creative energy make any class a rockin’ good time! Heidi teaches in Springfield, PA.

Jared Loss


Jared Loss is a graduate of Penncrest High School and Temple University, who after traveling around the world and living in California for several years has returned to Pennsylvania to pursue his passion for music. Jared is a multi-instrumentalist/songwriter who plays drums, guitar, bass and piano. Jared is the director of Rockdale Music and teaches Rock Bands and private lessons. He also teaches Makin’ Music classes at the Media location.

Jen Stewart


Jen Stewart is a mom of three who has been a musician all her life. She has a degree in Elementary Education and has taught both elementary and preschool children. Jen enjoys helping out with the music programs at her children’s school and sings for their Girl Scout troops. She lives in Malvern, PA with husband, John, and children, Olivia, Claire, and John. Jen teaches in Radnor, PA.

Jody Weaver


Jody Weaver is the Director of Makin’ Music Rockin’ Rhythms in Chester County, PA. She has been “makin’ music” her entire life and has been performing professionally for children and young families for many years. Jody is committed to enriching children musically while creating a fun and positive experience for little ones and their families. Jody and her husband, David, her daughter, Jess, and son, Jared, live in West Chester, PA with their many pets.

Madeleine Griffin


Madeleine Griffin (Miss Maddie) is a preschool teacher in Weston, FL. Miss Maddie and her own children fell in love with Makin’ Music years ago when they attended Family Classes with Jody and Mickey. She has since moved to South Florida and is passionate about sharing Makin’ Music with children and families in Broward County.

Michael Kropp


Michael Kropp manages the Makin’ Music location in Gilbertsville, PA. Michael has been obsessed with music his whole life and plays several instruments: guitar, bass, piano, and drums. He has been performing steadily in the Philadelphia area since 1999. He started working with Makin’ Music in the Spring of 2008. Michael especially loves having the opportunity to impact young lives through music, particularly the fun, interactive experience that is Makin’ Music.

Mike Curry


Mike Curry has always been crazy about music – he picked up the guitar at the age of 8 and hasn’t put it down since, except to learn bass, ukulele, and even a bit of harmonica. He’s been performing professionally for more than 15 years, most recently with local bands Love Seed Mama Jump, Electric Velvet, The Gamilons, and Ginger. In addition, Mike teaches private guitar lessons for kids of all ages. He’s excited for the opportunity to work and have fun with children through the wonderful world of music. Mike teaches in Ocean View & Lewes, DE.

Nancy Micciulla


Nancy Micciulla Curry is the director of Makin’ Music in Delaware. She began teaching with Makin’ Music in the spring of 2008, while living in Philadelphia. Nancy grew up in a musical family, and has been playing one instrument or another for most of her life. She has a degree in theater from Indiana University of PA, is a singer-songwriter, and performs regularly with her band, Ginger, in southern Delaware and Ocean City, Maryland. She’s grateful to have the opportunity to share her love of music with young children and their families.

Sandi Eckberg


Sandi Eckberg has been teaching children for over 20 years, 4 as a preschool teacher and has been a Christian Education Coordinator. She is a songwriter and performed for 13 years with her sister, Kim Fink, as Peanut Butter ‘n Jelly. Sandi captivates kids with her zany sense of humor. She presents teacher workshops, directs music programs, has a business degree and has two children and four grandchildren. Sandi teaches in Springfield and Media, PA. Sandi is also the director of our summer music camps.

Shaina Tessari


Shaina has been singing since she could talk! Shaina came to the company in 2013 and is currently the music teacher at our South Philly location. She graduated from Temple University with a bachelor’s degree in Music Education and has since worked as an elementary school music teacher. She was the music teacher for our 2016 summer camp, where she was able to share her love for music and her multi-instrumental talents with the children!

Sue McKenna


Sue McKenna, a talented vocalist and guitarist, has performed professionally off and on for over 20 years and currently plays locally with the Moondawgs. Sue has degrees in rehabilitation and counseling. Her spontaneous sense of humor and lightheartedness perk up a class. She has two children.
