Summer Music Adventures 2017

Join us at our Media location for an amazing week of summer camp! Each week the songs and crafts will be based on that week’s theme. Campers will get a special Camp CD to take home with all the songs we do at camp. On Friday each week at noon, the campers put on a show for parents and guests.

HALF-DAY OR FULL-DAY CAMP: You choose! Join us for Half Day (8:30 am to 12:00 pm) or Full Day (8:30 am to 3:00 pm – full day campers bring a lunch). In the mornings, campers will do music/theater and arts & crafts classes – along with games, instrument exploration, yoga, and lots of fun. Stay for the Full Day, and you’ll also get special afternoon activities which will include painting, science experiments, cooking, expanded instrument exploration and lots more. Note: Full-day camp only runs Monday through Thursday. On Friday, all campers will go home at the end of the show.

AGES: 3 1/2 to 7 (Must be born before Jan. 1, 2014)
All campers must be potty trained.

TUITION:
Half Day: $160 for the first child; $145 for each add’l sibling ($175 after May 1)
Full Day: $260 for the first child; $245 for each add’l sibling ($275 after May 1)

MULTIPLE WEEK DISCOUNT! Register for more than one week, and we’ll take $10 off each additional week for each child. The discount won’t appear when you register online, but we’ll take it off before your card is charged and send you an email confirmation.

princess Week 1: July 10-14– Princess Prep School
Calling all princesses (and princes too)! In addition to music and arts & crafts, our royal campers will have fun playing dress-up, building castles, designing their own sparkly tiaras, going on an enchanted scavenger hunt and creating science projects with glitter. Not to mention a special Princess Visit!
campfire Week 2: July 17-21 – Campfire Jamboree
Come on in and gather ‘round our indoor “campfire” and sing a song or two. Our days will be filled with s’mores, tents, woodland creatures, games and arts & crafts. We’ll even go on a scavenger hunt to find a bear! You won’t want to miss this “camping trip”!
safari Week 3: July 24-28 – Safari Adventure
Grab your passports and let’s head to Africa–the animals, the music! Lions roar, elephants trumpet, monkeys chatter. Join our Safari Adventure!
superhero Week 4: July 31-August 4 – Superhero Training Camp
What’s your camper’s superhero power? We’ll have visits from Batman and Spiderman and go on a scavenger hunt looking for Batman’s missing bat sign. Our superhero arts & crafts will include designing your own cape. And it wouldn’t be Makin’ Music without some super music!
critter Week 5: August 7-11 – Critter Camp
Cats and dogs; snakes and frogs. Music and crafts; fun and laughs. Critters large and critters small – join us to learn and sing about them all!
rockstar Week 6: August 14-18 – Rock Star
I wanna bang on a drum all day! We’ll make guitars and play rhythm games on the drums. We’ll learn to sing using a microphone, play on our drum set, and go on a scavenger hunt to find the missing drum.
blastoff Week 7: August 21-25 – 3..2..1..Blast Off!
Join us for an out-of-this world week of planets and stars! Build a rocket ship, create a robot, and go on a galactic scavenger hunt to find the Milky Way. 3..2..1..get ready for fun!

CAMP T-SHIRTS: One of the art projects we do each week is creating camp t-shirts. When registering, be sure to include your child’s shirt size on the registration. Available sizes are Youth XS (2-4), S (6-8), M (10-12) or L (14-16). Kids will wear their creations for the camp show on Friday.

Peanut-Free CampPEANUT-FREE CAMP!
We want to make camp a fun and safe experience for every camper. To help meet that goal, Makin’ Music camps are peanut-free. That means we’ll be serving peanut-free snacks, and we ask that full-day campers bring peanut-free lunches. If you have any questions, please contact our office at info@makinmusic.com.

CANCELLATION POLICY: If you need to cancel your registration, you may do so with a full refund until three weeks before your scheduled week of camp. Please call the office if an emergency arises after that.
